This year the community based project distribute gifts to 650+ families, including 1800 children. Each family received gifts, a ham and approximately 40lbs of food. Volunteers also distributed 6,000 poinsettia's to local shut-ins. This is a community based project and all gifts came from donations from the community to local fire departments, toys for tots and gifts collected by 107.9 the Link.

Charlotte Anychild with Children's AllianceWhat hope does a 9-year-old boy have, who dreams of growing up getting a gun and killing the men that hurt him? A boy who knew no father and mother left him after years of exposing him to domestic violence. Not many adults could handle that stress spread out through their entire lifetime.
