Boulevard Home Project Gives Families Support and Hope PDF Print Email

Many families receiving support through the Charlotte House Authority (CHA) are struggling in a variety of ways due to the economy, challenges with their communities and other day-to-day issues that surface which prevents them from achieving the best results for their families.  The CHA wanted to connect with a community agency that could provide day-to-day support for the residents of Boulevard Homes to help families achieve self-sufficiency and reduce their dependence on government/public supports.  A particular focus of services to helping the heads of household find stable employment and providing parental support to achieve improved school performance for school-aged children.

The Children’s Alliance and NC Child invites you to come celebrate a huge victory for children in our state. It’s been a long time coming but your hard work has paid off: North Carolina is no longer the only state that automatically prosecutes all 16- and 17- year olds as adults. Raise the age is now a reality for North Carolina kids! Come celebrate this big-time policy win. The food and drinks will be on us!
